As an expectant mom of my third child, I recently had the occasion to once again look into getting a new infant car seat. My children are 5 years old and 3 years old, and I needed a refresher! New safety requirements have changed and there are also many new models and options available for carseats! Not wanting to buy a new car, I looked long and hard at how I would fit 3 carseats into my Honda Pilot. Then, once I determined that I could fit them into my car, I looked up certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians using Safekids.org’s CPST database to help make sure I installed them correctly.
I thought that I would share the information for our local techs here to share with everyone. This is super important if you are expecting a new little one, but it is also good to get a refreshers if has been a while – I was very glad to learn something new for my toddlers also during my time with our local CPST!
