  A letter from Arunay's parents:

Dear friends,
    Through the depths of our grief we wanted to create a foundation, that bears Arunay's name, to serve as a beacon of ocean safety. It was and continues to be our hope that by sharing Arunay's story, we could spread awareness on the dangers of sneaker ways, promote beach safety, and educate our community to prevent another life being lost. We believe that we have made inroads. We have educated our community, installed life saving rings, and continued to share our story. This is just the beginning.

To continue and expand on this work, we need more funds. To help us achieve our goals, we ask for your participation in the First Annual Arunay Foundation Walkathon. 100% of funds raised will go towards our larger goals of Educating, Equipping and Informing communities about the dangers of sneaker waves and ocean safety.Walk with friends and family for Ocean and Water Safety
