From Community Outreach Coordinator, Shannon Liu Shair: Alameda County Community Food Bank accepts adult volunteers regularly and sometimes has family nights that children can attend. ACCFB has kept me in the loop about the upcoming family night.

This event is geared for families with young children ages 5 and up, and it offers a great opportunity to learn about the issue of hunger in our community, while making a hands-on difference! Please note that for this event, we require one adult for every two children under the age of 18 to ensure safety.
Our next scheduled Family Night is on Thursday, October 18th from 5:30-7:30pm. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. The registration link is here: https://accfbfamilynightoct2018gen.eventbrite.com/. These Family Nights are an opportunity for people to learn about our work who might not have otherwise had the chance (due to the age limit we have for volunteering).
This is a community event that is not hosted by FUN Mothers' Club.
